GHK-Cu is a copper tripeptide that regulates redox reactions, gene expression, and protein homeostasis, thereby promoting tissue repair and exerting anti-inflammatory effects. This tripeptide binds to copper ions and transports copper into cells in a controlled manner, supporting redox signaling pathways. Additionally, it influences redox reactions and promotes the reduction of copper without generating toxic reduced copper.

Skin Regeneration Effects

Recent studies indicate that GHK-Cu reduces copper- and zinc-induced oxidative stress and protein aggregation, exerting a protective antioxidant effect. RNA studies suggest that GHK-Cu disrupts proteolytic processes by upregulating genes involved in extracellular matrix synthesis (COL1A1, COL3A1, elastin, and decorin) and glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis, as well as by regulating matrix metal balance.

Anti-inflammatory Effects
